Exercise Before the 6 Week Checkup
We advise you to wait at least 6-8 weeks after having a baby before beginning any strength or cardio exercises. However, days with a newborn are long. Repetitive care-taking tasks can take their toll on the joints. These are our favorite stretches to provide relief to mothers who do a lot of sitting, feeding and cuddling. Please be mindful of any stitches or injuries when you stretch.
