WHY DID YOU BECOME A PRE/ POSTNATAL EXERCISE SPECIALIST?
Ever since attending holistic nutrition school and wanting to become a mom myself, prenatal and postnatal women have been very near my heart. During these childbearing years, mothers bodies and minds need more specific attention. Whether it’s eating a whole foods diet to nourish a growing baby or getting stronger to pick up carseats and strollers, our needs change as we become moms. I count it a privilege to be able to help women on their prenatal and postpartum journeys.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU THE MOST ABOUT OUR CLIENTELE OF BADASS WOMEN?
Most of these moms work full-time jobs as well as being amazing mothers, and they still priotize their health by working out with us! As a mom and part-time worker, I often find it hard to prioritize exercising. I’m always so inspired by these badass women, and as a result, I make sure to carve time for myself to exercise!
IF YOU HAD TO LISTEN TO ONE SONG ON REPEAT FOR THE REST OF YOUR DAYS – WHAT WOULD IT BE?
How can I just choose one! River by Leon Bridges or Ritual Union by Little Dragon.Honestly, I don’t know. Who has time for music with 2 kids?! Ha! I listen to podcasts or audiobooks when I have time by myself. However, I do listen to a lot of kid music! If you haven’t heard of Casper Babypants, do yourself and your baby a favor and listen to it! It’s the best kid music by far, and I actually enjoy listening to it myself.
