WHY DID YOU BECOME A PRE/ POSTNATAL EXERCISE SPECIALIST?
I became a Pre/Postnatal Exercise Specialist after going through my first pregnancy and postpartum journey and really felt the lack of resources and education around movement. I didn’t feel like women should have to go into this incredible journey feeling lost and confused to potentially end up in more pain, creating further issues, or simply not feeling like the strongest most capable version of themselves. So I left VIP Hospitality to dive head first into Pre/Postnatal movement, birth doula work, and birth prep and education and haven’t looked back!
WHAT INSPIRES YOU THE MOST ABOUT OUR CLIENTELE OF BADASS WOMEN?
I love that our bad ass clients show up for themselves. So much of our pre/postnatal journeys revolve around finding and prioritizing time for our own care and this is a way they can show up for themselves. Training with intention, giving ourselves grace, and finding strength through all the phases can be so empowering and just by walking through that door, I’m immediately inspired and grateful to work with these women.
IF YOU HAD TO LISTEN TO ONE SONG ON REPEAT FOR THE REST OF YOUR DAYS – WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I listen to EVERYTHING and love music so much, but I have to go with my forever happy song – the one I put on when I need to boost my mood – Rusted Root, Send Me On My Way.
